  Great͏ experience as a buyer and seller
  I͏ bought my first unit off Jody in Jan 2019. I appreciated her direct and honest communication and the efficient way she handled the sale, and for that reason we decided to go with her when looking to sell our unit in 2022 after buying a house a few months prior. We were very impressed with the way she handled everything, including timing when to put it to market and considering competition. She managed to sell our unit in less than two weeks, 50k over our minimum. Jody also professinally managed an unfortunate extension of our contract settlement due to issues beyond our control. We would recommend Jody to anyone looking to buy or sell property. Her assistant, Angela, was also very responsive and helpful throughout the sale, including making helpful recommendations and organising services like new smoke alarms.

  I listed my property with Jody from Jean Brown Properties in Helensvale and within 2 days it was sold. Jody was so professional and such a great person to deal with through this process. Nothing was too much for her and always only a call away to answer my questions. She knows the market and was able to get the best value for my property.   Had to escalate a bond refund to the tribunals because Jean brown was claiming that it was “normal procedure” to claim the whole amount?
  
  Once escalated they backed down and suddenly became reasonable.
  
  This agency is definitely pushing/breaking the boundaries of the law especially with their over 50 percent rent increases.
  
  Would recommend this agency if you have no integrity and only care about money.

  Professional Service equals excellent results
  After interviewing a number of Agents about listing our home, Jody came across as the most well prepared (regarding the market) and professional of the lot. She not only took the time to get to know our property but also our reasons and desires for selling and from the process. Communication with both herself and the staff at Jean Brown properties was excellent and we were kept appraised during every step of the process.
